Marana, Arizona- My Place Hotels opened its second location in Southern Arizona last Tuesday morning.
“We’re thrilled to welcome My Place Hotels as a valuable addition to our town’s hospitality and join our thriving community,” said Vice Mayor Roxanne Ziegler.
My Place Hotels is a newer hotel brand, established in 2012. Most rooms feature identical layouts with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Each room includes a mobile pullout desk for business travelers. The hotel offers accessible rooms with lowered furniture, bathtubs, and toilets for guests who use wheelchairs.
“You can rely on the quality, you can rely on the affordability of the model and pricing. We have a good product to provide to both investors and developers but also to the guests that stay here for anywhere from a night to months at a time,” said CEO Ryan Rivett.
The hotel experienced a setback during construction when a microburst delayed the planned June opening. In response, Rivett increased his involvement to expedite the remaining construction process.
The community of Marana and the Marana Chamber of Commerce actively supported the hotel’s construction process. This level of involvement aligns with the strengths of both the Legacy Management and Iridius Capital teams, whose members regularly participate in community projects.
“Being a group of local folks when we got involved with this project we were excited about being a part of a mission here that was focused on bringing a hotel amenity here to the town of Marana, to an area that’s seen so much growth,” said Director of Real Estate Daniel Pintor.
