Back-to-School Resources to Help Your Budget

Marana, Arizona

Back to school – those three little words can add up to a hefty price tag, $874.68 to be exact. That’s the average amount families with children in elementary through high school plan to spend on clothing, shoes, electronics and school supplies, according to the National Retail Federation and Prosper Insights & Analytics’ annual survey. Keep in mind that estimate doesn’t include the cost of extracurriculars or those sneaky expenses you just can’t plan for.

If you, a family member or a friend are in need of some resources to cushion your back to school budget – check out the list below. Also, if you are in a position to give back, we have included opportunities  to help your neighbors succeed.
